Be Careful What Your Normalise
Are you normalising sh*t that actually feels crappy and unsupportive of you feeling your best?
Society has normalised so much
Stress, overwhelm and hustle mindset
Doing it all, overworking
Putting your needs last – being the non priority
A painful period
Bloating
Niggles and pain, restriction in movement
Relationship tension and communication issues
-ve body image
You don’t need to normalise things for yourself that are just COMMON. Challenge those things that don’t actually feel right for you.
Reflect on all the areas of your life and ask yourself
What about this area of my life doesn’t feel good, that I have tolerated for too long? (e.g. Behaviours, self-talk, interactions, experiences, mindset)
If I no longer tolerated it, what would I experience instead?
Now write out your new standards! Start with a “I no longer tolerate…” list and then finish off with “My NEW normal, I now only tolerate…” list and write an entire list. Now hold yourself to these new standards. Take an action each day that aligns with your new way and notice what happens!
